Individual and Family Therapy

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy at St. David's Center involves one-on-one meetings with a licensed mental health professional to address an individual's unique needs and concerns. The client works with the therapist to set goals and create a plan for achieving them. Play techniques are used in our work with children.

Most clients meet with a mental health professional once a week, but frequency is determined by the needs of each individual.

Family Therapy

Every family goes through challenges. Meeting with a licensed mental health professional for family therapy can provide the fresh perspective needed to help families overcome obstacles and strengthen relationships. Many types of family counseling are available to address issues such as family change, loss, communication and/or coping.

Psychological Testing

St. David's Center provides psychological testing to assess cognitive, social-emotional and behavioral functioning; this includes evaluations for children who may be on the autism spectrum.
