Exceptional Early
Childhood Education

Where children of all abilities love to learn.

Search

Research shows that early experiences and relationships are foundational for brain development and critical for future learning capacity, behavior, and physical and mental health. At St. David’s Center, we are honored to be a partner in your child’s early childhood education, where we work to establish the building blocks that support social-emotional development, problem-solving skills, and overall learning.

Beliefs:

  • Social-emotional development is the foundation for future learning.
  • Relationships are built by interactions that are warm, sensitive, and responsive to the child’s interests and emotional needs.
  • An inclusive learning environment provides an opportunity for children of all abilities to learn alongside one another, find similarities, honor differences, and increase compassion and empathy for others.
  • Children learn through play and exploration.
  • When needed, the earlier we can intervene to address a developmental concern, the better the outcome for the child and family.

What Sets Us Apart:

  • We intentionally offer low child to teacher ratios in order to meet the needs of individual children.
  • Our campus includes spaces that are designed by experts in child development and early learning.
  • Our center is located on ten acres of land that include a school forest, two outdoor classrooms, and two playgrounds.
  • For families participating in early intervention services, we offer care management to navigate next steps within St. David’s Center.
