Sensitive Parenting Support
Sensitive Parenting Support is available to pregnant women and parents with a significant mental health issue or Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI), who are or will be parenting at least one child under age 4. This service includes:
- Emotional support for the challenges of parenting with a mental health diagnosis
- Information about their child’s development
- Connections to concrete resources to support your family
- Attachment Biobehavioral Catch-Up (ABC), 10-12 weeks of focused parenting support that help parents nurture and respond sensitively to their infants and toddlers
You don’t have to walk this path without support. Home-based services are offered for six months at no cost to parents.
