Destination Anywhere
Destination Anywhere is a person-centered, community-based Therapeutic Recreation Program for young adults 18 years of age and older with developmental disabilities.
Destination Anywhere focuses on modeling, teaching, and promoting positive peer relationships, overall wellbeing, and community involvement.
Program participants must be 18 years of age or older and be able to safely engage in a group program staffed at a 1:3 ratio.
About
Destination Anywhere is a full day, Saturday program that occurs twice a month. Program hours run 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM and includes a day filled with outings, field trips, and other therapeutic recreation activities.
Example of Destination Anywhere Activities include:
- MN Twins Game
- Bowling
- MN Science Museum
- Archery and Team Building
- Onsite Therapeutic Recreation programming
Payment/Funding
The Destination Anywhere Program is a 245D Licensed Program that can be funded through a DD/CADI Waiver:
• Consumer Directed Community Support (CDCS)
• Traditional - ILS Therapies - Therapeutic Recreation
• Consumer Support Grant (CSG)
• Private Pay
• CFSS
